Early in 2020 (before the world turned upside down) I was commissioned to write a book about the knitting technique of entrelac.

 

All completed in 2021, it was published in January 2022.

The book is 96 pages, has four unique patterns and lots of pictures of wonderful entrelac to inspire you. Also included are clear step-by-step instructions with pictures on how to knit entrelac.

Having taught this technique at the Knitting and Stitching Shows and seen the common mistakes people make, I was able to write about ways to avoid making the mistakes. So there are a couple of handy pages on common mistakes and how to avoid them.

Then there is lots of information about variations to the technique and each pattern has a few notes about customising the design.

 

On the last pages there are grids you can copy to help you start designing your own ideas.
