My range of sewing workshops and projects include both hand sewing and using a machine. Shown in the pictures are;

Two machine embroidery projects of a beautiful Tulle Summer Stole and a Rose Bud picture.
a Chenille Cushion Cover.
Three Clamshell patchwork projects, the Sheep Cushion Cover, Coffeepot Cosy and an upcycled denim table mat. I have a passion for Clamshells and am on a mission to encourage people to use them more.

My range of knitting workshops include how to use colour, texture and knitting in the round, the pictures include;

How to set up Two Magic Loops on One Circular Needle. Thus meaning two socks or two sleeves can be knitted at one time.
Knitting socks Toe Up Two at a Time.

A Hot Water Bottle Cover, knitted in the round with NO sewing up to do!
How to work Entrelac, making a lovely Cushion Cover.

Double Knitting, I cover several ways to cast on and work this interesting technique.

Workshops for your group

In presenting workshops at the Knitting and Stitching Show and Festival of Quilts, I have a wide range of workshops I can deliver. Having been sewing and knitting for over 40 years I have tucked quite a number of skills under 'my belt', which I love to share and see people enjoy new skills.

The early part of my career as an Occupational Therapist gave me good grounding in skills for running creative groups, which have been useful in my career change to teaching creative skills and workshops.

I am available to come to your group and teach the knitting and sewing workshops detailed above. I am quite happy to discuss options for the future by email and poentially online conversation .

Based in Chester, I can travel to all parts of the UK.
